To make great work, it helps to know how readers meet it. FoundryInk's reading side is calm and considered: follow and shelf what you love, read the way you like, and even put on some music. Here's the experience your readers get, and that you get too.
Readers follow a studio (a free follow, or a paid tier) and watch a series to get updates, and shelf issues into their library and their own lists. A Continue reading rail on Home and Browse remembers exactly where they left off, so a half-read issue is always one tap from finishing.
Every issue reads as a vertical scroll or one page at a time (page-flip), and readers can override your default. When you've marked panels, the guided reader unlocks: Reveal feathers each panel into view as they reach it, or Cinematic glides and zooms from panel to panel. Tapping a character's name even opens their read-only Codex entry.
The Chill Player is a slim, license-free music bar at the top of the site for signed-in members: hit Find music, preview, and pin your favourites into a little row of chips. It remembers your volume and follows you across devices, a calm soundtrack for a long read, with the artist credited while each track plays.
No. You set a default reading mode on the series, but readers can switch between vertical scroll and page-flip in the reader itself, whatever's comfortable for them.
When you've marked up panels on your pages. Then readers can step through in Reveal (panels feather in) or Cinematic (a gliding, zooming view) mode.
A slim, license-free background-music bar for signed-in members. Find and pin tracks, and it remembers your volume and pins across devices, with the artist credited as it plays.
By following your studio and watching the series for updates, shelving issues into their library and lists, and using Continue reading to pick up where they left off.
Following, reading modes, and a little music, the whole reader side. Last stop: make FoundryInk yours.
